I enjoyed the Pedal Pub while in Minneapolis recently and wondered if this would work in Bricktown.

Any thoughts?

Basically, it's a 16 person "bicycle" with a keg on the front. It rents out to groups for pub crawls and parades and was alot of fun.

I don't drink alcohol hardly ever anymore, as in a drink or three in a year, if that much. But if I did, this wouldn't be where or how I would choose to do so.

There were a couple operating in Downtown Austin this spring.

I'm not sure I understand why a group of people who wanted to go on a "pub crawl" would need to take a keg with them. Is that for those who can't go more than 5 feet without a drink in their hand? It might work for special outdoor events though.

This was my first thought. Seems like it would violate an open container law, you cant walk around bricktown with a drink in your hand can you?

If you could get legalized, I don't see it working well in Bricktown. Campus Corner in Norman is a different story.

Whatevs, I'm riding my bike to get drunk at pride today, a little sweat never killed anybody.

As far as legality is concerned, I'm pretty sure that they would provide you with a sober driver, much like a party bus, and I'm sure coach/limousine laws could apply.

Oklahoma Party Bus laws allow passengers to bring their own alcohol with them but it cannot be provided by the operator.
