Hello, I have been a member here for awhile and I hardly post so if you have a policy against this or it's not wanted here, please take it down.

About a year ago, I started a Facebook group about the southside of OKC and the areas there from back in the day. I never knew this place existed until a member of my group sent me a link to here. This place is totally awesome and I'm so proud to be from OKC and the state!

A few months ago, I was notified that my FB group for the southside was due to be archived if it was not updated soon. My brother was finally able to update my FB group but before then a member., Bobby Carmack, was able to create a forum for OKC southside so that if worse came to worse, us southsiders would have a place to talk and discuss like we have before with a great group of pictures to see. Not to take away from the South OKC postings here, but to allow more room for the southside, back when as well as now for those that are interested.

The FB group and Forum is made up of those that either grew up or lived in South OKC back when and today. And basically southside means anywhere south of I-40 and from Mustang/Tuttle area to the west to East of Thunderbird and Little Axe area to the east. Moore, Mustang, Capital Hill, Western Heights, US Grant, SE High, Norman, Southern Hills, Jefferson, Parrie Queen, Jackson, South Del-City, and so on....
