The outdoor screening was great fun last year. I'm glad they're going to do it again. Can't wait.

And it doesn't look like anyone is likely to get wet this year.

The website has the outdoor screening as "Wednesday, June 11th," so is the screening on Wednesday or the 11th...?

2011 deadCENTER Film Festival starts tonight, WED, June 8 with the FREE screening of Talihina Sky - The Story of Kings Of Leon in Automobile Alley. Here's a good rundown of the this year's events (http://www.newsok.com/deadcenter-kicks-off-june-8th/multimedia/video/981637197001).

So, I'm telling you, the deadCENTER pass is the best deal in town. You ge see as many films as you like and the parties are FUN and include all the Stella you care to drink! You can still buy passes at www.deadCENTERfilm.org Make sure and read the about section on the website; it has some great tips for attending the fest.

I went to see the Comedy Shorts last night. They were pretty good. Some were better than others, but overall I thought it was worth the $10. I'm planning on attending a couple more viewings this weekend.

Anyone going to "Elevate" tonight? It's an outdoor screening. They allowed coolers at "Talihina Sky," think this will be the same?

Yes, bring your coolers, blankets, picnics, lawn chairs. This is a great event, you can bring your kids if you want. Very laid back; great night on the lawn under the stars.
