This is my wife and I's hope, we'd love to see a Total Wine on Memorial.
Same here! And on the north side so I don't have to cross Memorial! :)

TheHorseman 01-06-2025, 10:48 AM We went recently just before Christmas. Went to the old store just north of Target but was closed and had to call to find the new location. Store looks nice! barrettd 01-06-2025, 02:35 PM That building was recently bought by an investment firm that specializes in properties with national credit retailers. I suspect they already have a lease for that space, but not sure who it will be. Total Wine & More would be an obvious candidate. I was under the impression Total Wine lost whatever they were trying to have happen to open over at the old Gold's Gym. Are you optimistic about all of that being sorted out so they can open stores here? I admit to not knowing enough about the situation and/or the laws involved. Total Wine is looking at multiple locations they hope to open if/when they succeed in court. There is the one in Moore, the other at Portland & NW Ex, and I'm assuming they would look at the Memorial/Edmond area as well but have no inside info. barrettd 01-07-2025, 08:34 AM Total Wine is looking at multiple locations they hope to open if/when they succeed in court. I wasn't certain whether or not they were going to continue to pursue it in court. I guess looking at locations doesn't indicate either way at this point. Jersey Boss 01-07-2025, 08:42 AM Thanks! FWIW, Total has multiple locations in North Carolina and like WalMart or other big retailers in Oklahoma they do not carry spirits. State law restricts them to wine and beer. |
