Does anyone know how many tickets were released for purchase this morning?

I was on the Ticketmaster site just before the sale actually opened, refreshed it the second it opened, put in my request for two, and they were already gone?? It wasn't even 10:01 yet....

Was just going to surprise my son with tickets for Saturday, but can't fathom they sold out in under a minute unless they had literally but a handful to sell....?

Anyone have any insight?

-David

Heard there weren't many. I did the same and lucked out. Got 2 in section 305.

Congrats.....man, I don't know how I could have gotten there any faster or closer to the time they opened up.....dang..

Yeah I got really lucky. Few friends at work tried the same thing and didn't get any.

Well, I can only assume they had a trivial number to sell, probably not even 100. Dang dang dang....:(

Well, if anyone out there has a couple they realize they won't use, please drop me a pm or email me soonerdew@gmail.com...

Cuban probably scooped them up not wanting any Thunder fans in the crowd.

It's a crock. Checked Stubhub before and after and there's a ton more tickets for sale now (WAY above face value). Sucks the average fan just can't get the tickets instead of the scalpers and ticket brokers.

Yeah, couldn't go down there tomorrow even if I won...daughter has a school concert...Sat was really my only chance to see them. Wish I knew how all the scalper sites manage to do it. Frustrating.

You weren't going to find many pairs of tickets together unless you're were lucky. Most of the ones that went on sale were singles. Also, you had to have an Oklahoma billing address to get tickets, and Wichita, KS too I believe. No tickets were sold to Texas residents.

The address wasn't a problem; I'm right here in OKC. Just amazed me that I thought I hit the site literally the second it opened and still got shut out....alas..

You could always buy season tickets so you get first crack at playoff tickets.

If you want playoff tickets read this statement from the Thunder.

WHAT ARE THE GAME DATES AND TIMES AND HOW CAN I GET TICKETS?
The Thunder will meet the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 of the series will be played Tuesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. in Dallas. Click here for the full series schedule (http://www.nba.com/thunder/schedule/wcf_schedule_110515.html). Tickets for Home Games 1 and 2 (Games 3 and 4 of the series) are currently sold out. Due to the incredible support from Thunder Season Ticket Members, the number of available single-game playoff tickets were extremely limited. Fans have additional opportunities to get tickets. From time-to-time, a limited number of tickets become available due to released seats from the NBA or Visiting Team. To be informed when these tickets do become available, click here for the Last Minute Club (http://www.nba.com/thunder/tickets/last_minute_tickets_1011.html) to register for ticket notification alerts.

Even though tickets are extremely limited online, fans will have a game-day chance to get home playoff tickets through the Thunder Rewards Zone in the hours preceding each home game. Just like during the regular season, 25 pairs of fans will be able to enjoy the game for free, and 75 pairs of Love's Loud City tickets will be available to purchase. Registration will begin four hours before tipoff, and the drawing for these tickets occurs two hours before tipoff each game day.

Their are not many non-season ticket holder seats anyway

Understand, but unfortunately that kind of cash layout just isn't in the cards.

I might give that a try...the hope was to surprise my son and get them in hand...I figure I'd be in the midst of a few kajillion other folks trying the same thing.

The same thing happened to me when I tried to get tickets to game 7.

I don't know if the people buying the mini-season ticket packages get prefered access to playoff tickets or not but you can always buy season tickets with 3 or 4 other people and split the cost, then work out an agreement for playoff tickets.

I tried the exact same thing along with 4 other people in my office, one of which is a floor seat season ticket holder, NONE of us had any luck as well. They can get their season tickets for playoffs, which are much more for playoffs BTW, but we were unable to add any extra tickets anywhere. And you can go to the Ford Center tomorrow night, and be the only one, the game is in Dallas!

This is scam artist territory. There's no way any of those tix would be offered up to the public in a fair/equitable manner cuz there is serious money to be made. Forgetaboutit!

No call on the drawing. On the bright side, I don't have to muss around with DFW traffic tonight, and the dvr is working just fine. For anyone making the trip, enjoy.

There will be a lottery for tickets the afternoon before the game. I don't know exactly when it occurs, but you can go down and sign up for it and have a chance to win tickets. If the weather is good they'll be showing the game outside on the big screen and that would be fun too, as the atmosphere will be festive. I'd look on ebay and Craigslist too. Sometimes they have cheaper tickets than Stubhub. Razorgator on occasion has cheaper tickets as well.

It is on TV for free. Try hosting a watch party. If you have a projector hang a sheet from your garage door and show it outside.
