HOT ROD 03-22-2005, 08:09 PM Somebody who got "lucky" and "struck it rich" Patrick 03-22-2005, 08:12 PM A good office leasing agent. A so-so entertainment complex developer. He actually had no entertainment venue experience before Bricktown and East Wharf. These were his first projects. Believe it or not, he has a mullet. It's kind of that 80s-era, laid-back Cali kind of mullet. You know, "Business in front, party in back." Patrick 03-28-2005, 05:27 PM I agree...he's a nice guy. I just wish he was focused on developing a true urban development, and not a throw together suburban complex. The Sonic Building is nice, but everything else is pretty suburban! The Sonic Building is nice, but everything else is pretty suburban! We'll see how lower bricktown develops. I think it'll take on a little more "urban" flavor south of the whole Bass Pro thing (which was a suburban style development anyhow). I hate that they wasted all of that land with single level parking though. Patrick 03-28-2005, 07:40 PM We'll see how lower bricktown develops. I hate that they wasted all of that land with single level parking though. There are actually no plans for development south of the present Crosstown, and our very own Carl Sullivan is wanting to keep it that way. Original plans for the South Canal called for it to remain a park-setting. Last time I checked, nothing has changed at the present time. But who knows.....as development builds in Bricktown and space fills up, I bet demand for more land on the canal will increase and land south of the present Crosstown will open up for development. Only time will tell. jenncole 03-29-2005, 02:56 PM where can I find a pic of his mullet?? lol. I am just curious to see it. lol. What else does he do besides his lower bricktown so-so entertainment complex?? Does he have office space?? whats the next controversial project he wants to involve himself in?? Patrick 03-29-2005, 03:04 PM He manages office space. Quail Springs Corporate Park off Memorial Road just west of May Avenue is his. He also manages City Place. There are others as well. jenncole 03-29-2005, 03:16 PM Thanks.. Patrick. What are his fairly good size to BIG office complexes he manages?? he owns them or just manages? Patrick 03-29-2005, 03:39 PM The two complexes I listed above are probably his largest. He both owns and manages office space. I'm not quite sure which ones he owns and which ones he just leases. HOT ROD 03-30-2005, 12:40 AM City Place is a downtown skyscraper, isnt it? Like the 4th tallest or something? Hogan manages that? Patrick 03-30-2005, 12:51 AM City Place is a downtown skyscraper, isnt it? Like the 4th tallest or something? Hogan manages that? Yes Hogan manages City Place, where he actually leases space to Urban Renewal....hmmm, imagine that! Actually City Place is the 3rd tallest skyscraper downtown. Strangely, the 2nd largest skyscraper is mostly vacant! • Liberty Tower 152.4 m 36 built 1971 • First National Center 150.3 m 33 built 1931 • City Place 134.0 m 32 built 1931 • First Oklahoma Tower 132.3 m 31 built 1982 • Kerr-McGee Center 119.8 m 30 built 1973 Sooner&RiceGrad 03-30-2005, 05:19 PM He's from MO, right? Springfield, I think. BricktownGuy 04-04-2005, 02:25 PM What's going to be his next controversial project??? Patrick 04-05-2005, 03:18 AM Hmm...you know, all of his recent projects have been controversial, including East Wharf. I'm still waiting for the bike shop out at East Wharf. BricktownGuy 04-05-2005, 02:35 PM yep, all of his recent projects have been controversial.. thats why I was wondering what he was up to next? If anyone had any clue or idea. Midtowner 04-05-2005, 04:27 PM yep, all of his recent projects have been controversial.. thats why I was wondering what he was up to next? If anyone had any clue or idea. They all involve the city favoring him with choice property.. why would they be contraversial? ;) Sooner&RiceGrad 04-05-2005, 04:41 PM :fighting3 We do have new leadership, people. Not that I have anything against Humphreys. I liked him. I disaproove of him moving to Edmond... Patrick 04-06-2005, 01:27 AM :fighting3 We do have new leadership, people.
