Heady play by Serge and Russ. What a game for Russ... and either he or KD still have to be clutch.

Well that win took some work. Don't know how they survived 3 overtimes in Memphis, but I'll take it.

Once again, KD showed what a class guy he is. In the post game interview the first words out of his mouth " I just want to thank the good Lord for the opportunity......". Can you imagine that from Lebron or Kobe?

Next two games at home?

Game 5 is on Wednesday night back in Oklahoma City. The winner of the series will play the Dallas Mavericks in the conference finals.

What happened with the Lakers? Did they fail hardcore? We are actually ranked above the Lakers?

I find it surprising that Dallas, Memphis, and OKC are above LA. If we win, we play Dallas for finals, so that means Lakers are already done. Right?

Next two games at home?

No, next one at home, then at Memphis, then if necessary, back in OKC for the final game which would be game 7, if it goes to that many. The point is just first to 4 however.

Keep in mind that what the Thunder did last night was battle against enormous odds. It was unlikely that they would have won in Memphis anyway. The Thunder had their backs up against a wall if they lost. But now the series is just tied. Somebody has to win twice more.

To those who didn't stay up and watch the game last night, you really missed probably the best game by the Thunder all year. They literally grew up before our eyes last night, games like last night, are games that make you great. They showed true grit, emotion, and the will to win! My game ball goes to James Harden, Thunder Up!

On that note - Memphis has the worst fans in the NBA. After only selling out 4 games all season, they can't buy the playoff tickets fast enough. But after three overtimes and their team down by 8 with under a minute to go they all head for the exits. What a way to disrespect the team. At least stay and applaude the effort. Win or Go Home is the NBA playoff motto - it isn't supposed to be guidelines for the fans code of conduct.

LA won their first series, as did Dallas, OKC and Memphis. OKC is presently playing Memphis in a best of seven series. Dallas won its best of seven series against the Lakers by winning the first four games (eliminating a need for any of the other three games.)

The winner of OKC/Memphis series will play Dallas and the winner of that best of seven series will be one of the two teams in this year's NBA finals. I haven't paid enough attention to the other conference to know who is most likely to end up in the final match up for their side of the brackets.

I was beginning to think that it just wasn't going to be our night last night with the way they kept hitting desperation shots. We gained a ton of playoff experience last night. The guys are growing up quick!

I still think this goes 7 games.

Down 17 already early in the 2nd. Eeesh. Smells like the team on the other side of the Mississippi wants it more and our guys have given up.

And this is why I went to bed at the half, even though we'd pulled within 4. Given Saturday's debacle, where we gave up a 16-point lead going into the fourth quarter to end up losing by 10, I gave up and took my tired rear to bed.

Of course, when I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that we had won, I kicked myself mightily for having given in so early. This will replay on ESPN classic for years to come.

I don't really have a direct answer for that question as posed, but I can say that he didn't exactly thank the Lord for winning. As I recall, it was for "the opportunity to play" or words to that effect.

Just wondering if anyone on here been watching KFOR, KOCO, or KWTV today? Just wanted to know if any of them was doing a story about the Ford Center (Thunderdome) and tomorrow's severe weather. Any plans in place?

I'm going to bet that we will win tomorrow. Memphis will be traumatized with the tornado sirens and all. Possibly a real tornado on the path toward the stadium. Either way, the Thunder got the edge tomorrow and will for sure to win it.

Like I said, guys, do not give up hope. Their losses only motivated them to fight harder and they did just that last night. It was a wake up call. Tomorrow is home game, so no problem, and the fans will extremely be riled up. Then next game in Memphis, win or lose, no problem. Win, great. Lose, then back to home court advantage.

Think positive. We are doing just great. Dallas, erm, we can beat them the first 4 games (altho it was surprising to see Lakers lose out of Playoffs so suddenly). Eh, I'm sure we can take them on.

While Memphis fans were leaving the game with time still on the clock in the 3rd over-time, Thunder fans were making their way to the airport at 3:30AM. Here is video from Nate Robinson's cell phone (I think).

I'd say fold it up. I don't expect a win tonight here at home, and we will probably lose in game 6, thus ending the series. As much of a Thunder fan that I am, I just don't see them beating Memphis.

Pack that banner up. There's always next year.

You do understand we have beat them 2X and in one of the loses we had a 16 point lead. OKC takes 3-2 lead tonight.

Yes, it appears that with a 23 point lead with 9 minutes left in the game the Thunder decided not to take your advice.

I just wish we wouldn't start out so slow. Games would be much easier to win if we didn't start out by spotting the other team 6 or 8 points. I was also glad to see them keep the foot on the pedal when they got a lead. Too many times they have gone into trying to deliver knock-out punches only to see Memphis get back in the game. They did this a little bit with the reserves but by then the game was over (and the reserves actually made the shots). The starters still need to drive to the basket to get Gasol and/or Randolph in foul trouble. Memphis can't win if those two are not on the court at the same time (however, expect them to add a reliable outside shooter during the off-season so next year will be different).

I am not sure how much longer Perkins will be a Thunder. It is really hard to play offense 4 on 6. Perkins, if you are reading this - dunk the dang ball if you are 5 inches from the rim (also no more dribbling).

I'm a fan of Thunder. I'm not a fan of sometimes biased refs, who do things like let Conley dribble a ball out of bounds and the refs don't blow it out of bounds. This happened at last night's game.

I saw Westbrook get checked in the stomach. No flagrant.

Sure, we won, but that doesn't make the officiating any better and less biased.

The skyline starting to look a little unbalanced. We need another forty story building going up just south of St. Anthony's... for photographic purposes.

There are 100 fouls evey game. The refs only call 25 of them. They also call 25 fouls that didn't actually occur. The players know this and the coaches know this. If you want to go by the rulebook nearly every point guard carries the ball everytime they dribble. They are not supposed to hold the ball while moving but all of them do it nearly everytime. It is rarely called.

I would much rather have the Thunder start slow and finish fast than the other way around. As for Perkins I think he was a mistake of management. However the network announcers keep saying that we couldn't do it without him. He hasn't shown me much so far.

They have to talk about something after a 27 point blow-out and ESPN needs the ratings by saying Memphis is upset about it and will play harder at home.
