Ive recently have been getting into country music here lately mostly because my job has turned the dial that way, its amazing if you here something long enough you start to like it. But as a country music rookie, whats a good station around here for current country music? For weeks i thought we were listening to the twister, but found out friday its been Jake or something like that the whole time. Ive only ever heard of the twister, never heard of jake untill recently. So my fellow okies is their any other stations that play current country that ive been missing. And is this jake station better than the twister? if so when i go back to work monday im gonna have them turn it to that instead.........

101.9 The Twister is the best.

I rarely have a radio on anymore, but Twister is good. KXY, a former fav, is no longer what it once was.

Jake Fm is okay, but i prefer The Twister always, and I agree with you Kevin, KXY is not what it used to be, and then theres KKNG, but its about the same as KXY, even though I will rather listen to KXY then KKNG.

I like 97.3, whatever they're going by, but I like the older stuff and some red dirt mixed in and I'm less likely to be subjected to a Taylor Swift ProTools warblefest that way.

There is a lot less repetition on 93.3 Jake than on the Twister. The Twister ran me off with their preaching/armchair psychiatrist morning show.

I like KXY. Of course I like Classic Country though.

Pandora is my favorite. I chose the classic country and the today's country channel then did the quick mix option so that it mixes them (along with other channels because I can't listen to just country all day).
