There are a lot of good eateries in town, but often they are so loud you can't enjoy an actual conversation.

I'm having dinner with about eight friends who haven't gotten together in a while. Any ideas where we could eat and talk? To be able to visit without shouting would be nice.

Paseo Grill is very intimate. Also, you might try one of the many places that have a patio, weather has been getting nicer.

Bella Vista

Jamil's, even when it's full I've not have trouble conversing over our meals.

The Mantle, ditto the above.

Assuming OKC Chinese places are like Norman, there are often large tables off to the side. Not totally isolated, but here they are far quieter than main seating area.

Crown Plaza, May and NW expressway, After 7:30 pm. You may find you're one of only two tables there (has happened a few times for me over the years.)

Friendly's, between SE 66th and SE 59th on S Shields. It's like what you'd find in towns smaller than Noble or Jones. The catfish is great, lots of choices to the menu and never had a bad meal there. It's not a place I'd go on date night, but for someplace different with decent food and hanigng with friends at a large table, been there, done that.

How about Royal Bavaria in Moore? Know they have large tables, good food and beer

Trattoria il Centro. Stella has a nice back room. I must be in the mood for Italian food.
