I got the opportunity to watch Ladder 49 last night, and I must say that the movie was excellent. I wasn't real happy with the ending, because it was a sad ending, but I guess we can't all have happy endings.

Yep Keith this was an Excellent movie.Very sad true but I think it is probably very realistic as to what it is really like for firefighters.I never realized how much goes into there job.New respect there it was even more detailed I think than Backdraft.I plan on buying this one.

This was a great movie. I liked it. I like most of the movies that John Travolta is in.

Put it on my Blockbuster list.

I've seen the movie also, and it sure puts things in perspective. I would still much rather walk into a dark house, looking for a burglar, than to walk in to a burning building. I have lots of respect for what the firefighters do.
