Beer and Bratwurst. Perfect gameday food to move customers in and out quickly. Like this Purveyors of Exotic Grilled Sausages (http://www.wurstkucherestaurant.com/Eat.html)

No disrespect, but I have never heard of Taco Tuesday and when I heard that name the first thing that came to mind was not exactly gourmet. :-)

Well heck then how about Polynesian, it's all the rage in the forward-thinking cities.

Shhhhh...don't let Steve hear you say that...he has done his darndest to let everyone know

Iguana is still nice and creative, also Parrot runs the uber chic Table One. I don't see him opening a kitchy franchise.

Remember guys, no idea is ever a bad idea unless it doesn't match "with you know who's" uber yuppie persona.

A Japanese restaurant might be nice. A good thing about it is that it can have a menu attractive to both meat lovers and vegetarians. I'd love to see La Baguette relocate there as well, but recognize that we're talking about a different owner, which makes that less likely.

The big truck tacos group is opening a sausage/hot dog joint in that a frame restaurant on 23rd near Arby's. I hope it's like Franks in Austin, awesome place. Or hopefully like the one above.

Yeah but that was like decades ago at this point right? Long enough to be never, lol.

Oh, I know, dismayed. I didn't know if you knew Landry's had been here at all. The fact it's been so long ago is not something I have even thought about until you mentioned it. It seems like just a few years ago to me, but you're right. You'll understand this whole time thing one day. It's mind boggling how fast time goes by as you get older. I remember people telling me that at one time and thinking that's an odd concept - "time" going by "faster?" Nahhh. Well, guess what? But again - you're right - it's been decades now. Wow.
