I DVR the game and start watching the commercials 2 hours after the game starts, fast forwarding through the NFL nonsense.

Arguably the worst batch of commercials overall of any Superbowl out of, oh, say, the last ten. The only ones that I thought were really, really good were the Pepsi Max commercials, particularly the one where the jealous girlfriend hurls the soda can at her boyfriend, who is eyeballing a pretty girl at the park. He ducks, and the thrown soda can nails the pretty girl in the head. The other one was the very first ATT commercial, where the guy throws his buddy's cell phone out of the ski lift after the buddy moves in on his ex-girlfriend.

You didn't like the Doritos commercial where the Doritos brought grandad back to life? That got big laughs at our watch party.

Yeah, that one was pretty good. All the Doritos commercials - excepting the one where the guy was sucking people's fingers to get the cheesy taste, which was just flat-out disgusting - were pretty good.

My favorite was the little Darth Vader kid. Even though you couldn't see his face, you could just imagine his shock when the card started up.

Eminem's 2 minute Chrysler commercial. It deserves to be up there with Apple's 1984 commercial.

"Imported...from Detroit."

My youngest, at 18, and younger brother, 30 years the lad's senior, also rated this one well.
