So I was out at Penn and Memorial today and noticed a huge construction haul away trash container. The Sportsman's Warehouse sign was gone. Anyone know what's going on over there?

Anyone know what's going on over there? Gold's Gym, a chain out of Texas, is turning it into a huge fitness center. He started another one near Muscle Beach in Venice, California called World Gym. World has since gone franchise as well, sold to Planet Fitness in 2006. Then...last time I was there in the mid 90's...nothing but homeless lunatics, gang bangers with guns everywhere...and drug addicts of the most desperate sort. Some of the best and worst gyms i've ever belonged to with the absolute highest membership fees i've ever had to pay. That said, i cant wait to see what they do with the place. |
