What would really be neat is if OU, Devon, and Chesapeake collaborated and developed a Oklahoma Institute of Energy Science and Research in downtown OKC!

There's already something very similar down in Norman with the Sarkey's Energy Center. It has a very good reputation among geologists, energy economists and other assorted policy wonks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarkeys_Energy_Center http://www.sec.ou.edu/ G.Walker 01-13-2011, 08:54 PM I am a graduate student at OU, so I know about Sarkey's Energy Center, but I was thinking something more exclusive to Oklahoma City, and the research of clean and reusable energy... G.Walker 01-13-2011, 08:58 PM Sarkey's focuses more on geological science and pretoleum engineering... BG918 01-13-2011, 09:24 PM That would be great to see OU get behind something like that. I imagine it would probably be in Norman though. |
