This is such great news! I loved Bellini's back in the beginning and was sad it had fallen off so hard. Look forward to visiting again once the remodel and launch happens.

I hope they get their woodfired pizza oven back.

Received liquor license this week:

Bellini’s Ristorante & Grill, 6305 Waterford Blvd., Ste. 100 in Oklahoma City, Tommy’s Italian American Grill LLC.

I believe they plan to keep the Bellini's name.

I'm guessing Tommy Byrd had a reason it was easier (or cheaper) to use the Tommy's liquor license with a Bellini's dba?

I bet it was more about timing than anything. I'm sure updates to the space are minimal and he's ready to get customers in. Starting all over on the license would probably take 6 months.

I went by this morning and they were busy setting up but not quite open for the day. But, I understand they did a nice remodel and brightened and freshened up a bit.

It's really a great setting and I hope this change will be for the better.
