Has a limit to the size of a picture been set... suddenly I can't post any pics?

I would like to delete some old photos so I can add some new things. Frustrated I want to post things relevant to issues important to folks here and I cannot do it because of the allotted photo space. There is no means of deleting old photos that I no longer want. Can somebody please help here?
