Just got home from Don Williams' concert at Rose State. Still has the golden voice, sang all his best-known songs and held the crowd in the palm of his hand. My wife and I loved every minute of it. So thankful he chose OKC to start his comeback tour.

I'm glad to hear he's doing well. He's always been a favorite of mine ever since the "Urban Cowboy" days.

Don is slated to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year. Long overdue.

One of my best friend's Mom was born in Floydada...near Lockney...been there--and that is the real country...he sings from the heart, and from experience...
