Yea I may be mis-remembering. Cannot recall of Core2Shore was a MAPS project or a totally separate deal. It was all happening at once in the same area.
Core2shore was simply a planning exercise without associated funding. The Oklahoma City Boulevard was an ODOT project over which the City of OKC had relatively little influence. Neither was a part of any MAPS project, although arguably Scissortail Park and the convention center (MAPS 3) were envisioned and heavily influenced by Core2Shore.

The fact that I also vividly remember all of this when others here don’t is starting to make me feel old.

I noticed this weekend that the light poles along the street in Film Row is labeled as West Village District now?

The West Village District is a new business improvement district (BID) where the local businesses pitch in for shared promotion and other perks.
Film Row is a subset and is comprised of the area along Sheridan.

The Irwin properties directly east of West Village on Sheridan are now for sale. It's a little under an acre with 3 buildings at $2.25 million.
Hall Capital has bought up a lot of property in this area over the years and wouldn't be surprised if they acquired this as well.

Prime for housing, which is much needed in West Village!
