I wonder if dogs understand what babies is and where babies come from. It is a drastic difference from seeing a huge adult human walking and talking ...and see a mini human (baby) shrunk down to a dog's size.

I doubt they understand where babies come from but I think they recognize them as being babies.

Well, Thunder, I am not into breeding dogs - I just have my girls and they are spayed. I will probably get another one in 3 - 4 years as Evelyn gets older. I am so ridiculous about them that my own family fears for my mental health and my best friend tends to have long pauses where I can tell she is biting her tongue.

That one was funny to watch but I read some vet blogs and they were of a mind that the poor thing was actually having a fairly severe siezure - they were pretty upset over it and hoped someone would get the dog some medication/treatment.
