Is there a nice duck pond in noramn where you can feed the ducks without getting into trouble, I know some places they dont want people feeding ducks.. I just wanted to find something to do with the kids this weekend.

The Duck Pond on east side of campus, right off Lindsey, about 1/2 way between Jenkins and Classen.
Due to construction, go at it from the Classen side though. Lindsey is shut down at the Jenkins/Lindsey intersection.

Could also get there by going west on Brooks off of Classen.

The Brooks side is preferable with more parking and less traffic.

Watch out for all the duck-feeding thugs! I hear it's one of their favorite pastimes.

some of those ducks are well educated and only eat sustainable organically grown fair trade bread chunks

Chuckle if you must, but a simple read through this thread permits one to fairly conclude you are way better off to spend a quiet afternoon with Norman's very enlightened, thug facing, organic chomping, well educated ducks than hanging out with some of the forumites over cuppies and joe

Just looking for something to do this weekend. I dont see people in norman any different than i see people from all over the area.. ea town has thugs even the enlightened ones, I guess its okay that certain people think there place is more enlightened than others, every one has a right to be proud of there town, its like the my kids are the best kids in the world and other will disagree, this is the same with towns, Im not even going to argue about it anymore. I asked about a duck pond, thank you for the people who asnwered my question without enlightened criticism :)
