Driving down May Ave. yesterday, I noticed this restaurant. Has anyone tried it yet?

My husband and I went to Inca Trail tonight. We both really enjoyed our dinners. Very interesting menu and we thought the prices were reasonable. They have only been open for a week. One of the co-owners came by our table to chat. Very nice man.

The food there is usually good. I have tried a variety of their dishes.

The chicken is really good. You get a lot of food for the money.

I heard Mama Veca had the best ceviche in the metro - so I tried it there and at Inca Trail and thought Inca kicked the crap out of Mama Veca. In fact, I liked the whole dining experience at Inca better, and my companion was also much happier with his dish.

I went to Inca trail last night with a large group for a birthday dinner. It was literally the best ceviche I've ever had. The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly. Everything was delicious and very fairly priced. I'm assuming they don't have their liquor license yet because it was BYOB. Everyone brought a couple bottles of wine and we all totally forgot we were in Bethany, Oklahoma. I highly recommend a visit! The girlfriend and I are actually going back for dinner tonight.

Is this place still open? Did it move somewhere? I thought it closed its North May Avenue location?

Just the other day I noticed that the Inca Trail truck, parked near the ATM, in the shopping center on N. May was gone and then noticed that the restaurant was too. I sort of bummed me out because I've been meaning to try their famous "Chicken Thing" for at least a couple of years and they were only a couple of miles (or less) from where we live. I'm glad to hear a vague rumor that they have another location (somewhere) that is still in operation.

I just looked it up and they are now located in Bethany at 39th and College.

It's on 39th and college in Bethany. A friend actually told me that it's operated by the same people that run LaBrasa.

I'm pretty sure that's not true.

I'm pretty sure that's not true.

. . .maybe coincidence, but their FB page has an "ad" for a line cook at La Brasa.

I could've misheard, but this friend works for LaBrasa. I think it may of been that they had the same chef. There is some sort of tie there.

Their Peruvian roasted chicken is still as good as it was....excellent. Ask for extra sauce.

According to an Oklahoma Gazette article in 2013, when La Brasa opened, it was co-owned by Neil Zambrano (who owns Inca Trail) and James Vu. The LaBrasa web site only list James Vu as the owner now.

Bethany location is closed, remodeling inside, sign on the outside says "Closed Temporary (sic) - Coming Soon - Maya", and then something about Latin cuisine, specialties...

Does Latin Cuisine imply something perhaps . . . along the trails of . . . Peruvia? I hope so.
I missed a shot at El Pollo Mega Famoso Authentica (with fries) when it was conveniently located over on North May Ave.
My bad.
