After we were up and running again the site would not accept my log-in so I started all over. Though miffed a bit at being considered new and having my first posts approved I was OK with it, but WHY, after 12 posts, am I still awaiting approvals. And WHY is my avatar so huge? I did it just like I had before.

It is taking almost 24 hours for any of my posts to appear on this forum.

I also can't look at my inbox. When I try it tells me that I never clicked on the link in my confirmation email.

When I click on the link that was in the email I got when I signed up for this forum, I get this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function print_portal_output() in /home2/oklahoma/public_html/cmps_index.php on line 46

Can someone please answer my questions or at least tell me what I need to do to get out of this posting Limbo? It's very frustrating trying to have a conversation when I have to wait anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours for my posts to appear.

I, too, would like to be able to communicate in a timely manner. I believe that my previous posts have proved me to be a responsible poster and do not understand why I'm still being somewhat censored.

EDIT: --Ah, interesting. On this thread, my posts show up immediately, but elswhere, I must wait for a mod to show up. :(

Sorry for the trouble, guys.

Typically, any new registrant must have his or her first 3 posts moderated -- keeps out spam.

After that, you are usually converted to free posting status. With our recent upgrade, that is no longer happening automatically, but I changed it for each of you.

Please let us know if you have any further problems.

Thanks.

I think we saw last night why restrictions on new posters is a very good thing.
