Does anyone know if they ever plan to open back up anywhere else? It was our favorite restaurant in the city. Will be very upset if they don't open up elsewhere. Any idea why they closed the location on Meridian? We miss you...come back!!!

Thanks for asking this. We too miss Las Palomas.

Seems like there may have been a sign on the door but I did not go up to check it out.

Any info would be appreciated.

I heard they had a disagreement with the IRS but can't confirm that.

Understand it read something along the lines of "Closed by order of the Tax Commission". Absolutely hate it, but "tha rules is tha rules". . . .

Yes, if you liked their staff, try Adobe Grill at 50th and Shartel. That is where much of them moved.

We stopped by there yesterday and there is a small sign taped to the door. The sign indicates that another restaurant is going to open soon.

I am a moron. I wrote down the name of the restaurant on a piece of paper so I could put it on this blog - and now I cannot find where I put it. My best recollection though is that the name had the word "salsa" in it.

I drove by the old Las Palomas and saw a La Salsa opening soon sign. Anyone know any details on this?

Worth going too if you've never been, even if you never ever went to Las Palomas.

La Salsa could be a chain fast food place.

We continue to see changes to the building. There are signs indicating that La Salsa Grille will be opening soon. Hope it is as good as Las Palomas. We will certainly give it a try.
