How about an update, Pete, Martin, or someone on where things stand? I'm still turning of JavaScript in Firefox which gives a quick fix but I'd just as soon stop doing that if and when a green lite can be given here.

Eight hours later............

An update would be nice.

CSR case studies in crisis management - Johnson & Johnson (http://www.mallenbaker.net/csr/crisis02.html)

It's not what happens, it's how you react.

My mind is boggled by what's (not) going on here. No updates, no information at all. I was prepared to defend Pete to the hilt on this as it is my belief that he's been let down by those he's paying to maintain the site. At this point, with no comment from anyone in a week, I can't help but wonder if there's a dispute going on between URLJet and Pete or something. We have to guess as we've been left out in the dark.

That really is a good read at the link above. Whether you run a corporation, a hot dog stand, a bake sale, a forum, or a sale in your front yard, the lessons are universal.

If my computer was having problems with this site the first thing I would do is to go online at Trend Micro and run their Housecall (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/emea/) virus scan. Once a virus infects your computer it can cloak itself to become invisible to McAffee, Norton, etc. By using the online scan program it can find the virus and remove it.

This morning, I'm getting a new message when entering any page on this site ...

Any update at all would surely be appreciated.

As Doug's post shows the site is now listed in Google's database of attack sites.

Guys I've been in Idaho all doing an Ironman and I can't do much from here. I'll be back wednesday and hope to resolve things then. Really sorry for the trouble.

Why is this website still up and running? Needs to be off-line until it is no longer infected!

iPhone only for me, I feel for those who have been infected by this virus.

I've twice tried to leave a reply to Pete's above message but both failed because of site-blocking.

The situation here s very bad, Pete. If you can't handle it remotely, just say so ... then we will know not to come back until Thursday or so.

Well, after yesterday's closure of the forum and the reopening today, I hope all is back to well and normal. My computer and laptops seems OK and free of virus.

Never a glitch here. I hope those who had compromised gear got it corrected so as not to contribute to a reoccurance of this problem.
