I've seen historical reference to avenues stated as such: "101 West Avenue B" or "101 East Avenue G". Anyone know what streets these were and to which streets they correspond today? Was this a convention like that of the county roads numbered like "E0100 Rd" on modern maps?

That'd be cool if we still had that sort of grid naming

Well! I bet that's it. Looks like 23rd through 29th streets.
Thanks! Did they change when Capitol Hill was annexed or something?

Capitol Hill always had lettered streets. I don't know when that changed. Okc had "named" streets which of many were changed to "numbered" streets.

There used to be some lettered streets West of the Downtown Air Park, but I don't know if they are still there.
