Did anyone die a little on the inside when the OKC location shut down? I did. I cant STAND Long John Silvers but I LOVED Captain D's! I think it was the tartar sauce that made me go ape$#!T over this place! I wish they would open a new location in OKC!

yeah, captain D's is indeed better than long schlong sliver's any day of the week. Their fish was a lot less greasy than LJS, not to mention their fries, hushpuppies and slaw was superior as well.

I dont know where the nearest Cap'n D's is at, but I do know they have one in Grand Prairie, TX if youre ever in the Dallas area.

The one in Springfield Missouri, where I grew up, used to give out blow pops to the kids. That's pretty legit.

I hate both places though. Total grease fest.

After going to the Captain D's website, it appears the Tulsa metro still has 2 left.
