First, no way they win in OKC Friday nite. If they thought the crowd was pumped last week, next game in OKC will be a near riot in the stands akin to GIA or LNC (back in the day).

Second, for Game 7, Lakers will have to put forth the same herculean effort they showed in Game 5 but on only 1 1/2 days rest. Game 5 they had 3 days rest. They haven't shown they can do that. Give the Thunder kids an opening and the Lakers could be in trouble. Regardless, Game 7 is setting up to be one of the best games of the playoffs.

Provided there is a game 7. And perhaps there will be.

I hope you're right. But I'm not going to hold my breath. I think the Thunder have a really good chance of winning Friday night and forcing game 7. Game 7 is another matter. If game 5 was a herculean effort it resulted in a 31 point margin. They only need 1 point more than OKC to win. In L.A. that will be hard to overcome.

For me, we've already won several times over...in the improvement in our regular season record, in making the playoffs, in making the Lakers take us seriously, and in serving notice to the rest of the league. I keep thinking about what Charles Barkley said the other day. He was talking about the Thunder (and the Bulls, btw). He said something along the lines of, "If any team wants to beat these guys' butts, they better do it now, because in 2 or 3 years, they're gonna come LOOKING for the bullies on the block."
