Daycare Center I believe. (Just south of that new Asian restaurant?)

I'm told it's going to be a BBQ joint plus a retail shop. No specifics.

I heard a Whataburger? who knows?

They have really got a lot of work done on it, but still no "coming soon" sign. It has a drive-thru window- so it wouldn't seem to be a daycare center, like I earlier heard. Any new info/ideas?

I hope it's a Whataburger, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

I read that Whataburger will build a store where the car dealership just came down, on Main Street by I-35. Maybe they will build two? There was one on Lindsey near Berry years ago but it never really worked.

Do you know of anything else that is going on the old Mark Heitz land? I think you could fit about 5 Whataburgers on that parcel.

Barbecue restaurant, operated by the man that sold barbeque from a concession trailer that was in the old bowling alley (now Journey Church) parking lot.

I'm glad he landed on his feet. I didn't really like the way that deal went down- the church having him close down.

Though, I feel Ray's is a better mix of food/price.

Oh man, I loved Harv's BBQ so much!! We used to live right nearby and would eat there several times a week. I was so pissed when the church shoved him out.

He moved his trailer out to Little Axe and then got wiped out by the tornado. He must have good insurance if he's replacing it with a restaurant. Good for him. I know I'll give him some business.

I read on another forum that it was going to be a Dickey's BBQ. But to confuse the matter a bit, the dickey's website says coming soon to MOORE with no mention of Norman.

I was originally told it was Harv's, now, like you, I'm hearing Dickey's, guess when the sign goes up, we'll know.

Although it's nice to get a restaurant not currently in the metro area market, it's a bit disappointing that it's going to be a chain BBQ location. It's so easy to find good LOCAL barbecue around here that I can't imagine why they would think it could be successful to put a location here.
