Does anyone know who sells these other than Harry Bears? Would like to be able to get some occasionally other than Harry Bears at the Arts Festival every year. I remember when Sonic used to offer them.

Also Chicken n Chops out in Piedmont if you're out that way, although theirs are very peppery. Chicken Express also has them, but the ones I tried were a little mushy. john60 04-26-2010, 11:31 AM O'Connell's MsDarkstar 04-26-2010, 11:39 AM Pickles Restaurant in Moore has them, 27th & I-35. They fry actual spears. Slim Chickens, but I haven't tried them yet. Locations in Norman & the new one on SW 89th & Western. Chicken Express - these are in a cornmeal batter that's got a little spice to it. Classic 50s in Norman positano 04-26-2010, 11:40 AM McNellie's. They've got a little heat to 'em! icecold 04-28-2010, 10:46 AM I like the fried pickles like the ones at the arts festival. Lightly battered. Not a fan of the pickles at McNellies and other places where it is just one big thing of batter and the pickle always comes right out on your first bite. Are any of the above mentioned places like the pickles at the arts fest? gmwise 04-28-2010, 03:44 PM I like the fried pickles like the ones at the arts festival. Lightly battered. More training is needed..lol This is why I like the fried pickle chips. metro 04-28-2010, 03:50 PM I like the fried pickles like the ones at the arts festival. Lightly battered. Are any of the above mentioned places like the pickles at the arts fest? As I mentioned in the first post, those are made by Harry Bears, which still has a location in Moore and Yukon. I do agree they are a nice switch in that they are very thin and lightly battered, but addictive. icecold 04-28-2010, 05:21 PM I think this comes from a untalented mouth and the limited ability to eat it properly. No, it comes from the freezer more than likely and not hand battered in house. Its just one big glob of bredding that does not stick to the pickle and therefore comes right out first bite. gmwise 04-28-2010, 06:26 PM No, it comes from the freezer more than likely and not hand battered in house. MonkeesFan 05-06-2010, 09:05 AM Hooters and FlatTire has very good fried pickles, I need to make a trip to FlatTire so I can eat fried pickles again, have not been there in 3 years! OKCMallen 05-06-2010, 10:09 AM Rooster's are the best I've had. They're not chips, but spears cut into pieces. Awesome. betts 05-07-2010, 04:47 PM I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I think Hooters has the best fried pickles (although I was at Roosters and didn't try the pickles there....will make amends the next time I am there). The best part about the pickles at Hooters is the horseradish sauce they serve them with - divine. OKCDrummer77 05-07-2010, 09:52 PM Chubbies fried chicken in Yukon has sliced fried pickles. Mmm good! I'll second that. I just tried them this week. Yup but downside is that sometimes they burn the pickles and it does not taste as good but when it is not burned, it tastes like heaven!
