I would also vote for the Five Guys Burgers. Do not care for their fries, but the Burgers were great.

I just saw them mentioned on a television news segment about unhealthy eating. That's just what OKC needs after being castigated recently about being the fattest city in the US.

On a related note regarding new businesses. Saw an article in todays DO. Sounds like retailers are taking a second look at OKC. See below.

Trader Joes. Great stores and more affordable than WF

Speaking of REI commercials on local radio popping up, I've also heard Ruth Chris' commercials on KTOK here recently as well.

have heard Ruth Chris commercials on the Twister for well over a year now. Local station but guess they have national ads (like local tv that keeps running the Dairy Queen ones).

Larry, DQ runs on local TV because they have locations in Chickasha and other towns which are still in the OKC TV market.

That is true but what about the Ruth Chris commercials I heard on the Twister or as you mentioned, KTOK? Where is a Ruth Chris in their listening area? There location map doesn't show any in Oklahoma (DFW and Rogers Ark, look like they are the closest).

Although not what you would call a "firm" business, as in, buildings and stores, and such.

I would like to see AirTran Airways here, this could go in the OKC Discussion thread, but I think this is more appropriate. I have sent an email off to AirTran just as we are doing on these threads with other businesses. I realized yesterday when booking my trip to Tampa, just how sky-high the fares are. I would like to see some lower prices to the Southeast, and that is what AirTran could do.
