I have the poster of this map; it takes a few minutes to orient yourself when looking at it because the "top" is west, but not true west! It's a fun map, but definitely an artist's rendition...and just to correct one misstatement on the map: in 1890, Oklahoma City was in "Oklahoma Territory," not "Indian Territory." Otherwise, it is very interesting and the legend gives locations that you can identify even today. |
