I hope OKC turns the house out, wins the game, KD gets the scoring title and MVP!!!, and the nation finally see that OKC is for real and IS a contender - regardless of market size. ...

I'am pulling for the Thunder and I really am not a big basketball fan.

Its nice that we will finally get our 3rd national game, (NBA TV doesn't count). How many games do ya'll think Thunder will have carried nationally? I am thinking between 7-10. With a few TNT broadcasts, and maybe one ABC vs someone like Dallas or Denver.

I think we'll probably have 6-8 national televised (ESPN,TNT,ABC) games next season. The ABC game will be on a Sunday afternoon against whoever we play in the playoffs this year. I'm VERY excited about OKC being in the playoffs this year, (playoffs starts a week from tomorrow) but can you imagine how much exposure the City of OKC is going to be getting next season?!?! It's going to be GREAT for the city!! Not to mention we'll have 4+ cranes in the skyline building a new skyscraper, It shows the rest of the country were being progressive in rough times. It's a great time to be apart of OKC!

I agree with you HOT ROD.

If you watched the Orlando-Cleveland game today you would have thought that LaBron James had already won the MVP the way the announcers were chiming in while interviewing King James.

King James being in a larger media market (media appeal) and a more established playoff team does appear to give him an edge over Durant. It really doesn't matter if KD wins the scoring title, it does put KD in a position to win next season if he can duplicate his efforts.

That why it really doesn't matter, let's take on LA or Dallas first--what to we have to lose?
