Is anyone going out to the Fairgrounds this weekend to look at the beautiful cars?

Do they still cruise Meridian in the evenings?

Aha! We wondered if there was some type of car show in town as we'd seen several gorgeous show cars/trucks out and about today. Didn't know anything about a show.........wonder where it was advertised????? We hadn't seen a peep about it until your post! Thank you!

They don't usually advertise it much, unfortunately. You might hear a blurb about it on one of the local channels but that's about it. My dad used to build street rods as a hobby (he had the most beautiful 1939 Chevy, it was pink & had the Pink Panther on the back) so he participated every year. When I was a teenager, I would work for the Street Rod Association at their official souvenir booth. Was so interesting to see all the cars & meet all the people.

The Street Rod Assocation Members avoid Meridian Ave. (other than motels to sleep/shower), local idiots have taken over Meridian Ave. and created a safety/traffic problem for the area and a 3 day nightmare for OCPD.
