Can someone please explain to me why three sandwich shops would all locate on the same intersection?

By the way, I still love the "Torpedo" at Neptune's better than any sandwich the others offer.

I was thinking about this today as I had my lunch at Neptunes. Not to mention, a short ways away is Kamps, Someplace Else, and Saigon Baguette. Forget the Asian District. Should be called the Deli District.

Subway was just up the street (by Sherwin Williams), but moved into the former Dunkin' Donuts location. I think it is a power play to force out Neptunes. Lee's and Saigon aren't going after the same clientelle.. Is Kamp's a deli anymore? I thought it was only a dance club now.

Neptunes? Wow...that's a throw back. I forgot about that sandwich shop and thought it closed many years ago. Hmm....perhaps it's worth a visit.

IIRC, there was one on N Western just south of Britton road close to the ole JMHS. Is that one still open also?

I don't recall that one. But the "Torpedo" sandwich is alive and well at the Classen Neptune's. A great tasting sandwich.
