I wasn't impressed by the Battlefield 3 BETA but they said that the BETA was from months ago so I still may try it out. And I guess it's safe to say that everyone on here seems to like the same video games.

Osmos, TowerMadness, Infinity Blade, Zombie Gunship/Highway, Squirkle(shameless plug for a game my friend made) All impressive on any iOS device.

I'm still an MMO junkie. Waiting for Old Republic next month to come out. Of course I love me some BioWare, so the story angle should be very good. I'll just have to finish up Dragon Age 2 with the DLC stuff before then.

Once Skyrim comes out, my social life will be over...

That doesn't surprise me but what does surprise me is they actually gave a game a higher rating than MW3... Skyrim deserves game of the century for that. Lol

I was actually shocked by they gave it a 9. From what I've heard from friends who have played it already this seems to be a very generous score. It seems that reviewers, esp IGN, are starting to realize that just because it says COD, doesn't mean it deserves a 9.5 or a 10.

I haven't played it yet so I can't really judge but every COD I've played since COD 4 has felt and looked the same and I've played all of the between MW and MW3. I still plan on getting it but not because it seems amazing, just simply because all my friends will have it and I want to play online with them.

I've noticed that COD games have always been reviewed by fanboys so that's why they give it such a high rating but games like the original Dead Space got an 8.7 from IGN and that game kept me more entertained/scared/wanting more than all the COD games combined. COD 4 was pretty cool though since it was the breakthrough.

I love it! I haven't had a lot of time to play it but I'm level 15 and I've gotten pretty far. The best thing to do is just go exploring. Go through caves and look inside every chest, cupboard, urn, etc. You'll be amazed at the things you find!

The main quest in its entirety will take around 40 hours or so im guessing. The third game in the elder scroll series Morrowind i spent easily 250 hours or so and still left some things unfinished. Im guessing playtime in Skyrim will be upwards of several hundred hours due to the sheer enormity of things to do in the game world.
Wait til you come across a dragon and burnt to a crisp lol.

I've been impressed with Portal 2.
Infinity Blade 2 is out today. It's a pretty decent improvement over the first. More story, more complex fights. It crashes at the credits on older devices like the 4th gen iPod or 1st iPad, but I was able to get around it by playing through the first deathless on my 4S and then signing into that point on the iPad.

Portal 2 was awesome. I'm on the Halo HD reissue and Saint's the 3rd. I liked Saint's Row 2 better, but this is still good.

Well just got done with SKyrim. 142 hours, all achievements unlocked. THought it was a fantastic game. Still have some misc quests to do but Ill come back to those when the expansions come out.

The only downside to it was I didnt feel that there weren't really any epic quests like there were in Oblivion, however the last few hours were really cool.

Highly recommend 9.75/10

Now I have to chose between Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Assassins Creed, or MW3. Hopefully I can get them done before Mass Effect 3 in march

I played the Mass Effect 3 Demo and I definately plan on getting it at some point. And while this topic is alive, Assassin's Creed 3 was announced last week and I'm actually pretty excited for it.

I saw that about assassins creed III. Even thought it should technically be called 5. But regardless I am glad they are switching it up to the American Revolution. The other stories were starting to get stale.

Yep, which is why I'm surprised I am excited for it. I like the American Revolution twist because I wasn't really expecting that. Infact, I was actually irritated when they announced AC3 because they release one every year now but I guess they've been working on it for 3 years now.

Bought the Move for our PS3 the other day. Love it for 1st person shooter in 3D with the assault rifle add-on. The sports Move games are not bad. Great for when friends come over and we want cheap entertainment.

I think I prefer some of the XBOX Kinect games though (non first person shooter) which are more suited to groups of friends hanging out.

I'm nearly done with my third playthrough of ME, trying to get to level 60 and finish up the achievements. Bought ME2 for cheap this weekend and will be starting that soon. Waiting to buy ME3 until a good sale, or I finish ME2. Loving this game though!

playing bioshock 2 and deus ex:human revolution right now. both are pretty sweet.

deus ex was one of my favorite games last year. Very underrated.

Just finished mass effect 3. Great game. Took about 33 hours and I did everything. The last 3 hours were epic. But there has been a lot of critisism about the ending(s) where people are demanding a new ending. I didn't think it was THAT extreme but I can see where people might be upset.

I really liked SWTOR until level 50 and then end game and raiding just fell flat. Which I guess is to be expected for a new game. I'm a huge KOTOR fan and like Star Wars and all, but SWTOR was just a bit too unfinished for me. Went back to WOW for now and having more fun running the old content (BC raids and such). Might check out SWTOR again in 6 months to a year after they get some changes done.

Time to revive this. I am really addicted to Borderlands 2 right now. Can't stop playing it. If you like first person shooters with a little bit of role-playing mixed in, I would suggest buying it. The humor in it is really good too. The stuff they say in this game is ridiculous! I also just bought Guild Wars 2 because my friends pressured me into buying it. Haven't played it yet.

I intend on buying Borderlands 2 for the reasons you stated. I never really played the first Borderlands but I've heard 2 is much better. Looking forward to the release of Assassin's Creed III in a little over a month (Oct. 30th).

I've been hearing the same type of review about GW2. It is alright but lacks something for most people. Picking up the MOP expansion for WOW and have to say Blizzard did pick up the quality of story telling with this one. Still need to finish Skyrim as well, but winter will be here soon enough. Also BioWare announced Dragon Age 3 official, so that is something to look forward to next year.

it was a long summer and Borderlands 2 is one of the first of many new games that are coming out over the next few months that I am looking forward to play (dishonored, far cry 3, assassins creed 3, resident evil 6 just to name a few. I heard sleeping dogs was good, but I might wait until its in the bargain bin)

I am about 20+ hours into B2 and its just as fun and witty as the original, and more polished. If you enjoyed the first one, this one is good too.

AS for skyrim I finished up with the DLC that came up over the summer. Im embarrassed to say that i dropped over 170 hours in that game.
