versus Phoenix, our closest competitor, is not yet sold out. This would be a really fun game to attend. If you're not a die-hard Thunder, NBA or basketball fan, the competitive games are the ones where the crowd and the players are the most fired up, which makes them the most fun to attend. So, buy a ticket and check out the team the league is talking about, to watch the player they're talking about.

If you can't go to the game, watch it tonight on Fox Sports Oklahoma, channel 37 in Oklahoma City. Game starts at 7 p.m., with a pre-game show about half an hour beforehand.

This should be a game OKC wins as well, as Nash is out for PHX. If you are going to go to a game this one would be a good one to attend.

So, if someone wanted to send a lad and his papaw off to a game, what's the typical gate fee - 10 and up a head? 20 and up? nab tickets online or at the door?

Kevin - if you have some time to kill you can actually get free tickets just before the game, but you have to wait for about an hour and half with a group of people.

About 2 hours before game time they put 100 chairs outside the ticket window door. The first 100 people to sit in the seats get to buy 2 tickets at $10 each. However, a local radio station (can't remember which one) holds a drawing 30 minutes before game time. They draw 25 names and if your name is drawn they pay for your tickets - hence free tickets.

Call the Thunder box office and ask about the free ticket give-a-way details. They will tell you all about it but you have to ask.

I did this with my son over Thanksgiving and we had to wait several hours. 10 minutes before the drawing a nice couple stopped and gave us two extra tickets to the game valued at $146 each. How is that for Oklahoma hospitality.

You can certainly buy tickets for $10, as mentioned above. You can also buy from sellers outside the arena, and sometimes there are good deals, sometimes not.

You're right Kerry, we've got to capitalized and seize this opportunity. We've beaten them with Nash; certainly we should beat them in his absence.

Nada gonna happen for this game.
As it happens, other plans already in place.
Thanks for the input all the same.

No problem - they do it for every home game.

The great thing is they even do this for games that are sold out. When all else fails - if you want to go to the game you can. You just have to wait.

Ya know, I've been thinking about this loss a bit more, it's not that bad of a loss. Sure it's disappointing but we just went cold at the wrong time. What I do like is that we didn't give up when we were down by 10 points....we hung in there and battled back.

Losing sucks for sure and the win streak has now been reset but we've had such a great run lately. I can't wait for the game tomorrow night...I'll bet the guys are super ticked off because of this loss and they'll be out for blood!!

Poor clock management and poor shot selection while up 10 with 3-4 minutes remaining. They'll learn from this one - time to start a new streak.

If they had seen Nick Collison open under the basket in the final moments of this game, we'd have been going to overtime and I think the Thunder would have won it. But....we didn't and now it's time for them to pick themselves up and get ready for tonight's game. This loss was one of those things that could have gone either way. The thing that the Thunder need to take away from this loss is that we shouldn't let games come down to this. We need to continue to put teams away when we have the chance.

They shot way too many 3s at the end with some of the shots coming very early in the possession. With a 10 point lead and under 5 minutes to go every shot should be a driving layup with 5 seconds left on the shot clock. The Thunder should have taken 100 foul shots in that situation.

That is the sign of a young team though - trying to land the knock out punch instead of winning on points.

last two games during the last 5 minutes Kevin Durant has touched the ball no more than 3 times in each game. Can't win the close ones if your best player doesn't touch the ball.

I know, right? I'm sitting there thinking at 7:27 left in the game, when Durant was on the bench next to Coach Brooks, "his streak is over". Westbrook got the hot hand and when KD came back in, it was as if he was invisible.

You gotta admit, though, that that was a nice block that Ginoble had on KD's dunk attempt. He had enough attempts at it to get the job done (30 games straight) but he was totally MIA after he came back in the game.

Oh well, just have to start KD 25 Point Run, Part 2 tomorrow night!
