Hi Everyone - I tried this on another website and did not get much response so I thought I would give it a try here.

We need OK music that will sound with our Alternative/Retro/Indie formatted station that streams on the web. We would like original stuff that is of a decent recording quality.

Some of the local stuff that we play include Hush Hush Commotion, Starlight Mints, Admiral Twin exc but we have not had any direct music from these acts. Please submit a couple of MP3's on our website. Please no Myspace links. If it's good we want to add it right away.

The station launched in June of 2009 and features music from U2, The Clash, Silversun Pickups, Elvis Costello, Social Distortion, The Cure just to name a few.

If you dont have a band please send this post to friends that do and check out the station when you get a chance.

Is there a way this could work with firefox browser? I have to run it in explorer to listen since it has to have a windows media player extension to run and firefox doesn't have anything like that.

Hey - thanks for the feedback. When you go to the station website and click the player link you will see some icons on the player window which will allow you to listen on Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp or Real Player.

I will huddle with my vendor and see if there is an in browser option for firefox. Right now, I'm not aware of one.
