Any recommendations?

I've heard great things about Walkmeter. It's one of the pricier pedometer apps at $4.99 though. Also it only works with a second or third generation iPhone... it doesn't work with the first gens.

Dismayed, funny you should write that because of all those types of aps, that is the one I was zeroing in on. Thanks.

Avoid Walkmeter if you don't have solid 3G in the area you walk.

All the people who work for me sell them, so I've heard every complaint imaginable. Most are about apps, which you DL at your own risk.
