It looks like a concrete plant has been built on the NE corner of Cornwell and Main Street in Yukon. Does anyone know if it is permanent or just there temporarily?

Does anyone know if it is permanent or just there temporarily? fire121 02-01-2010, 12:00 PM Just there for the I-40 highway project. sgt. pepper 02-02-2010, 06:38 AM what I-40 highway project...the crosstown widening? fire121 02-07-2010, 07:00 PM I-40 from Garth Brooks to a couple miles east of El Reno. Total pavement replacement and widening. sgt. pepper 02-08-2010, 05:35 AM do you know if they are going any further east with that? Rescue_Company_One 02-09-2010, 02:57 PM Why wouldnt they connect with the project that just finished?? Are they adding lights like the other project?? (Macarther to Council??Morgan Rd??) yukong 02-12-2010, 12:06 PM My understanding was that this was for the widening and redo of Highway 4 from 10th street to Main, and not I-40. And that would make sense due to the distance to I-40 from this location. It was constructed at the commencement of the Hwy 4 redo. Further, a Yukon city councilman friend told me it was for the hwy 4 redo. But, that could all be wrong. fire121 02-16-2010, 11:29 AM Doh!!! I screwed up on that one!! I had just been sitting at that light the day before and trying to figure out where they were using all that concrete. The I-40 project was the only thing I could think of while sitting there. My bad. Makes much more sense. |
