The relocated Detroit Shock will become the Tulsa Shock--with games being played at the BOK Center.

I know this sounds cruel--should we go back to Seattle and get the Storm?

Shock vs the Storm? This should generate a lot of electricity in Seattle and Tulsa.

:ohno:

Oh, by the way why didn't they call them the Oklahoma Shock; Tulsans were very critical of the Oklahoma City Thunder not being called the Oklahoma Thunder.

I don't want them called the Oklahoma Shock because the WNBA is dumb.

I don't think two WNBA teams in Oklahoma would be a good idea Laramie. If Bennett and Co. were interested in the WNBA they would have kept the Storm. Instead they sold them and used that $10,000,000 to help buy their way out of Seattle with the Thunder.

It will be interesting to see who draws bigger crowds in Tulsa, the Storm or the 66ers.

Just a gut feeling an expansion franchise in the All-Caucasian Basketball League would outdraw both of them....just on novelty alone.

You should have seen the midget wrestling last week. Couldn't find a seat.

Kerry, I think the Shock will outdraw the 66ers. The Shock will be on some national tv telecasts and I'm sure Tulsa will make ever attempt to fill the 17,900-seat BOK Center and boost their support since this franchise will reflect back on Tulsa.
