Devil pacters...lol OUGrad05 01-15-2010, 12:19 PM Interesting, i wonder if thats what I felt at my building in Tulsa. Was it around 9:30, actually I think my clock said 9:31, I just noticed an odd sensation while sitting at my desk, felt almost like a mild vibration the water in my cup moved kinda wierd, lasted about 15 seconds. Edit: I'm not sure if thats what I felt at not...according to NWS it was at 9:18 am. Edit: actually there were two quakes, one a 4.0 at 9:18 and another at 9:28 this morning that was a 3.8 so maybe that was what I felt... http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/Maps/US2/35.37.-98.-96_eqs.php OKCisOK4me 01-15-2010, 12:32 PM My bed had a sonic vibration in my bed at NW 63rd & May. Hmmmmm...you don't think God was a Sonics fan do you? lol Oh and since no one has posted it, here: Newsok.com article on quake (http://newsok.com/two-quakes-shake-oklahoma-county-one-is-strongest-in-12-years/article/3432283?widgetOffset0=0&custom_click=lead_story_title#comment) OUGrad05 01-15-2010, 12:34 PM We've had a lot of stronger than normal quakes lately. Oklahoma has always had small 2.0 to 3.0 quakes but the last month I think we've had quite a few registering above a 3.0 jstaylor62 01-15-2010, 12:37 PM OOOOOoooooOOOOO What pact with the Devil do you have? Not the first time I felt an earthquake in Oklahoma, first time I was stuck in traffic and didnt' find out about it till that night. There's a major subsurface fault that runs up toward the west central side of Creek county. I imagine it is possible the tremors ran up this and that is what you felt in Sapulpa at 9:18am. Yeah, be sure you make this post on every Oklahoma earthquake thread... Hahaha js! I made practically the same observation on venture's earthquake thread. Great minds think alike! As long as there's a more then one thread of something, I will. So I guess in your mind, if you think of something and post it once, its okay to go ahead and spam the heck out of every possibly related thread? I find that pretty immature. rcjunkie 01-19-2010, 03:55 PM Yeah, be sure you make this post on every Oklahoma earthquake thread...
