I did a poll for this mid-summer, but now that the year is over, what is your favorite?

Hey jbrown, I think your poll's broken, 'cause I'm not seeing the option to vote for Inglourious Basterds anywhere. Just a head's up.

Since the Coen Brothers didn't top "No Country For Old Men" in 2009, I'll go with the Clooney flick. I couldn't believe it wasn't in wider release; it was only showing at two art theaters in Dallas. I'm surprised it even screened in OKC.

Whoops! How did I forget that?

"Comic Sans MS"]Inglorious Basterds might get some votes, but not mine. I HATE subtitles! Not a fan of brutality either.

Of all those listed, I only saw 5 of them. It came down to The Hangover vs. Star Trek. Although I never saw either in the theater, I had to choose Star Trek, just because I knew it would have been a great one to see on the big screen. It was just so vibrant...

Some things are just way funnier than they were intended to be

District 9 with The Hangover a close second. Both were original and fresh

my vote goes to The Hurt Locker. Jeremy Renner is a very good actor that remains largely unappreciated and unrecognized by both critics and the film industry alike.

If you like Renner, be sure to also watch him in: "12 and Holding", and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"

Up In the Air was a great movie. It easily tops my list.

Zombieland was probably #2
Hangover #3
The Basterds came in a close #4.
