When the sub-500 Hornets first came to OKC, the biggest draw was to see the various NBA superstars come through town. Has Kevin Durant been elevated to that same status when he is on the road vs sub-500 teams? I say this becuase of the turnout to watch the Thunder vs the Nets this week. There is no argument that the Nets are struggling, but yet they still had a nice crowd showup that seemed to really appreciate Kevin Durant's play.

They said on the Sports Animal that the crowd was "ooooooh" and "awweeee'ing" at the Thunder while playing the Nets. They played well and made some awesome plays. This team has great chemistry, and the future looks bright.

If Kevin is not a huge draw on road games, then he soon will be. He is a superstar, and will lead the league, at some point, in scoring in the next couple of years.

KD keeps churning it out he will. As the Thunder get better, more face time on ESPN will take place. That's when nationally more people will take notice. When we start beating teams like the Lakers and the Celtics and make the playoffs, that will help as well.

If you have a facebook account, you can become a fan of his. He updates his own page and his website. People can see that he is a great human as well as a great bb player.

It's just a matter of time and #35 Kevin Durant will be right up there with #5 Kevin Garnett.

Maybe next year. Right now the Thunder average 16,259 attendance on the road; 85.8 percent of the seats are being sold. The two teams at the top - the Cavs and the Lakers - move 99 percent of the seats. Percentage-wise, we rank with Phoenix and Dallas, which isn't bad.

On the other hand, we're filling up 98.5 percent of the seats at the Ford (8th in the NBA), so at least OKC fans know what they're getting.
