I liked the way he called for daddy when he was in the locker room. "Daddy! I won't win a national championship and at least Bradford won a heisman. Can we just leave and go back to Texas?"
Nothing that remains south of the Red River is a "class act"
Mack Brown, "I held him out of the game in order not to jeopardize his future in the pros!"
Give me a frickin' break!
Let's get back to the days of Switzer. "You're not a hotshot million dollar quarterback yet. Get your ass out there and play!":ou2:ou2:ou2:ou2:ou2:ou2

Who in their right mind would be at the lake today? It's 21 outside! Are you
passing another stone and on lala-tab, again?
When we get to L I'm going to use Loratab in honor of your kidneys!

Prunepicker 01-09-2010, 09:16 PM I used to go to the location where the Oklahoma Baptist Vatican is located

Hey! Sanchez's was in that part of town, too! So was Shotgun Sam's.
I have many friends at the Baptist Vatican!
gen70 01-09-2010, 09:51 PM The only El Rancho Sanchez I ever ate at was next door to the Park Terrace Theatre. And I must say it was excellent good.
Prunepicker 01-09-2010, 10:08 PM The only El Rancho Sanchez I ever ate at was next door to the Park

There was a beautiful Mexican girl, named Maria Sanchez, that attended
U.S. Grant. I've often wondered if she was a member of the family. She
was gorgeous!
Hey, Maria! Do you remember me? Short, long hair, got a swat everyday
from Coach Wooden! Yes, everyday!
Okay, I've got L for Loratab, M for Mexican girl and S for swats.
Man! This is fun!
gen70 01-09-2010, 10:29 PM One of the Sanchez girls name was Betty. She went to Grant.
bluedogok 01-09-2010, 10:34 PM Were there some Sanchez brothers? I must have went to high school with one of their daughters.
I grew up going to that Shotgun Sam's...since we are kind of random right now...
S: Shotgun Sam's Pizza Parlour - N May & 39th, N May & Britton, I knew of one in Dallas on NW Highway on the north side of Love Field/Bachman Lake. Wasn't there one south?
papaOU 01-09-2010, 10:39 PM How did we go from R straight to G return to H skip to S
Prunepicker 01-09-2010, 11:01 PM Were there some Sanchez brothers? I must have went to high school with
one of their daughters.
I must admit that I never, ever cared about anyone's brother, unless he was
going to beat me to smithereens. There may have been some brothers, but I
was only interested in the sisters.
bluedogok 01-09-2010, 11:09 PM Well, I just knew the daughter of one of the owners and her last name was Sanchez.
