W ----- Wonder Bread in OKC. I used to smell it driving to work getting off of I-40. I am hoping it hasn't already been used. If it has, just kick me out. I was also waiting for L ----- Levitz Furniture and F ----- Folding Carrier Corp. (shopping carts)

Wonder Bread was baked at the Continental Baking Company! Every spring
they'd let thousands of balloons and the sky looked like a loaf of Wonder
Bread!

================================================== ==============
Gene Autry was originally named Berwyn.....Gene Autry was an employee at the train station and Will Rogers came through and heard him singing and convinced him (Gene Autry) to go to Hollywood. He became a success and the town's people and the state changed the name of the town....Ta-da..I was raised in and around there as a young child. My Family (uncles) owned a large amount of land surrounding the area. One of my fondest stories as a little boy was my grandfather told my dad one day that he had bought a horse from over at Gene Autry.....(I didn't listen to the WHOLE story) but went outside telling all the neighborhood kids that my grandfather bought Champion and I was going to get to ride him the next week end......oops...the place is a nice little town though and has a pretty nice Museum...
