I couldn't remember the location and wondered what happened to the family. I remember in jr. high the son rode a different cycle almost everyday and the daughter was hot.

Pody Poe had an establishment in the garage at his Nichols Hills home. I heard that he also had an interest in a club/restaurant around 63rd & Classen after one of his jail stints.

G - George's Bar-B-Q. 1st location was at NE 63rd & Kelly I believe. Then they got a westside location east of Western on NW 23rd, where Hemi's later was. (later was? Miss Leiker @ John Carroll Catholic School would give me demerits if she heard that!)

I - Ingrid's Kitchen (yeah, I know it's already been used at least twice) is mentioned in the NY Times Editorial page today.
Editorial Notebook - The Road West - NYTimes.com (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/17/opinion/17sun4.html?th&emc=th)

PS: Regardless of what you may think of the NYT's politics, Verlyn Klinkenborg is my favorite newspaper writers, bar none. His columns are kind of a "It's been a quiet week in Lake Wobegone" for print media.

P - Para-Dice Parachute Center. Made my 6 static lines and first two freefalls there when it was located south of Noble in '78. It later relocated to Goldsby after about 4 years in Cushing. OK. technically not in greater OKC unless you expand the boundary about 3 miles south.
