Introverts in the Church
Finding Our Place In An Extroverted Church
by Adam S. McHugh
This book has been a very interesting read for me. I really had not much thought about church in the context of personality so I am very glad that this author did.
It is rather short at 222 pages so not a long, laborious read. Another very good offering from IVP.
The author begins the book with a poignant description of himself standing at a post office box ready to drop in an envelope containing his resignation letter from ordination in his denomination.
Nearly 8 years later he determines that much of his struggle was about temperament or disposition.
I suspect the book is most helpful to those of us who test introverted but should be useful to those on the other side as well.
