I'm looking to update my home TV, sound and computer connectivity. My plan is to have speakers installed flush for surround sound, connect to an attic TV antenna (compatible with digital HD) and provide wireless connectivity to my desktop computer.

Are you aware of how to go about this? A suitable/dependable technician?

crawl up in the attic and go to town - better now than over the summer :-) With help from friends I've run cat 5e and coax through my house. I guess it depends on what you want to use it for - for some high bandwidth applications, wireless isn't necessarily best.
