I like listening to Jack FM, but I read the recent ratings that came out, that their ratings have not been good, I think maybe its time to flip the format or move Jack to a better signal and put another format on the station, What do you guys think.............

I have no problems with Jack FM, except that they don't back-announce the songs, don't have the scrolly-thing-on-my-radio activated and don't list the last, say, 15 songs played on their website...all I get is "We Play What We Want".
As soon as I hear the song I heard a couple of months ago so I can remember the name of it, I'll probably go play somewhere else.

If you have an iPhone, get the Shazam app....it's free & you can activate it while a song is on the radio & it will listen to a snippet & identify it.

"Better signals" are simply not to be had; when Tyler wanted to run KTLR after sunset, they wound up on a 250-watt FM translator. The FCC has spacing requirements, and while it's possible to get exceptions in certain instances, the price is reduced power and/or antenna height. (The 97.3 facility was 100,000 watts when it was in Weatherford; moving it to Blanchard meant a reduction to 1,000. Which is still stronger than the Spy.)

It's too bad they didn't get that 99.7 frequency That would've been a good place for Jack FM. and have 97.3 simulcast Smooth Jazz 103.7.
i once had a question regarding a song they played. i emailed the station with the approximate time it played and they sent me a list of songs they played that hour.
