usually dennys is open also western sizzlin ie mackie mcgees
lots more places are open on Thanksgiving than on Christmas. Probably more money to be made by feeding those who do not want to cook.

Actually, it's Mackie McNears (sp), not McGee's. If you want even better food, Golden Corral is open. We go every year.

neat story about Deep Fork. . .and why they will always be special to me!! Several years ago, it was only myself and a May college grad son doing Thanksgiving Dinner. When we finished our meal, I asked the waitress if they had any turkey legs I could buy. . ."tradition" was that the turkey legs were reserved for football watching. Since we were "eating in", there were no turkey legs for football. . .crisis!! Shortly, the waitress returned with a to go box and big smile. . . "Compliments of the Chef"!! Inside. . .3 HUGE turkey legs!! Thank you DF for a wonderful treat. . .and a great "family memory".

Umm drunken fry??? =) open 4pm-2am. regular hours. Fries...I might be able to call DFG and get chef Josh to hook it up with some turkey gravy for dipping sauce. Last I heard they still had seats for dinner but not lunch. $35 prix fixe for the classic turkey throwdown

The new Embassy Suites in Norman is open, I was out of town, but several friends had their Thanksgiving dinner there and were very impressed. carved turkey, ham, prime rib, etc;, I would imagine the Christmas Dinner will be about the same.
